Come on in, take your shoes off, and experience the powerful complexity of the nuclear family in An Ode To Parenting. A series of One Acts about parenting for the Child’s perspective.
The series includes;
Unconditional - After the divorce, Ela lets her dad stay with her. But he’s gonna have to move out, if Ela’s future is ever gonna move in.
I Didn’t Know - Pat, an isolating, military vet is asked to put his pain aside to be the father his son needs when his boy arrives unannounced… but will he be able to?
To Chiming In - While watching her son play soccer, Camela, a very hands on mother, and Isabella, her very hands off neighbor discuss when exactly is the right time to chime in.
Poisoned by Beans - After life altering news, will Autumn and Cooper salvage their relationship, or is this the beginning of the end?
The Mush - Elena, a mother, riddled with guilt, and very late, prepares to give the big apology.

Chance Lang is a New York City born, Los Angeles raised Playwright and Actor known for his original works An Ode To Parenting (2026), Going Home (2025), Trying (2023), One Take (2021), and Hypocrite (2019), and has collaborated internationally with Galiana and Nikolchev from The Useless Room at Institute Grotowski in Wroclaw and Brzezinka, Poland (2018), and collaborated internationally on WITKACY/Two Headed Calf at the Divine Comedy Festival in Krakow, Poland, TEATR Studio Warsaw, and REDCAT in Los Angeles.
